This is a puzzle game from the point of view of a rat trapped in a house. The objective of the game is to escape the house.

nice game, but why haven't you duped furniture on the second floor? its to empty, and instanced props won't make the game much heavier.
I tried to block it off. But I missed a spot. This was for a game jam, and I ran out of time. In the next few weeks I will put another puzzle upstairs with all the furniture and what not.
I wanted to leave a comment actually, but forgot. I had issues starting the game due to no buttons being visible, but after messing around with some settings, I got it to work, and honestly it was pretty fun. It reminded me of the Toy Story 2 game for some reason haha. Couldn't figure out what to do after I found the key, but it was an overall fun experience.
I uploaded a new version that fixes the button issue. They show up off-screen in the old version if your screen isn't big enough. Thanks for playing, glad you enjoyed it :)
So, at my PC i got stuck at a initial screen, i am trying to send it here but there seems to be a problem with itch's server when i upload it.
I tried moving on from this screen, looking for any button or trying to move anything but nothing happens ;/
It should be fixed, give it another try!
if running this on a Mac run this cmd before starting the game, otherwise it won't run.

Theres things to fix like the pause menu or the font magins .
But for a first finished project It is very good. 👌
Thanks! I kinda ran out of time up against the Low Stakes High-Rolling 3 game jam, otherwise I would have fixed the margins thing. Is there an issue with the pause menu you noticed?
The buttons dont work
Ah, yeah, I just fixed that. I'll upload a new version in a few days once I fix a few of the bugs I found.
